TIN SKRAVIR – carved door

How many people know that Gothic wasn’t just the name of a style of architecture or a form of literature; it was also a real language! The spelling of SCRAVIR on the lid of this tin is the way the word would be spelled in the 4th Century.

The SCRAVIR books phenomenon started in 2021 with the publishing of the first book SCRAVIR- While Whitby Sleeps. The second book SCRAVIR – Lacklight was published in Autumn 2023 and the third book is due out on Halloween 2025 (31st Oct). As the story progresses ancient texts written in Gothic form a key part of the plot.

The front of this tin also features the back cover art from SCRAVIR – While Whitby Sleeps. The back of the tin shows part of the cover art for SCRAVIR – Lacklight and dark murders happening at the foot of the 199 Steps!.
