This fun-packed version of the old fairytale helps children understand environmentally sustainable construction methods. It was inspired by the construction of the ecoDepot in York As a city councillor in York, Christian launched the project to create the city council’s first environmentally sustainable building in 2004, and he gave the building its name.

While the Wolf shivers outside, unable to blow the straw stick house down, the little pigs are warm as toast!

The ecoDepot is the largest straw clad building in Europe. At the back of the book are photos showing how the building was constructed. It’s a great way for young and old alike to learn how a zero – carbon future can be delivered.
